I've never refrigerated a workout powder before, not sure why this one is. The flavor is very sweet, but good. I found it was best mixed with room temp water, then you can refrigerate or pour over ice. Easy to chug after a good hard workout. Pretty expensive, but with the list of ingredients, I'd say it's worth it.

Evogen amino drink mix is a good supplement to use before, after, or between workout sessions. It's meant to aid in muscle repair and recovery. Mixes well in a shaker bottle with cold water and this flavor, blueberry apple, tastes pretty good. I like that it contains other essential vitamins and minerals to help with overall health as well. This particular container says to refrigerate after opening, which I noticed only after storing it in the cabinet for a few days after opening! Be sure to fully read that label!!

My husband and I started taking this to promote better blood flow and keep the body hydrated. Hubby also goes to the gym so he's looking forward to the muscle building aspect of this also. I find it easier to mix with water in a mixer cup so it comes out nice and smooth as opposed to adding to a bottle of water and shaking. It does take a good minute or two to complete mix in the powder with no lumps. I was very surprised at the taste though… very sweet, almost like drinking a juice blend…maybe a little too sweet. I can't tell the long term effect this product has on the body as yet but so far so good. I will update in about two weeks to let you guys know how it's going.

Mix this with water and get your exercise on. Doesn't taste awful like most of the powders out there. Great before weight lifting. No bloated feeling.

I actually like this and don't dread it like I have others in the past. This tastes really good, not tart or medicinal, it has more of a sweet flavor that I enjoy. It mixes well enough in room temperature water. I find that it mixes best without any clumps with a blender bottle.

Apple flavor dominates this interesting workout pump/recovery mix from master trainer Hany Rambod. Like all EVOGEN products, it is on the pricy side but it delivers. My workouts are insane if I take this as a pre and my recovery even better if I drink it after working out. However, I usually use as an intra. It's got the amino complex and other goodies to do the job there. My biceps feel like balloons after I drink Elite and blast them with a bunch of different curls. Likewise for the chest.
