I’m no protein expert. Bought as doctors advised increase of protein for wound healing post operation. Very sweet, but taste pretty good. Found they had to be really cold or I couldn’t get them down. Once chilled, these taste great. Satisfies the sweet craving after dinner too. Win- Win!

Given their other three spread range which I have tried, it comes to no surprise that they decided to introduce a fourth. Chocolate Chip Salted Caramel - WOW! It's basically all that needs saying, it's incredible.

So I will start by saying I have tried a LOT of protein bars over the years, a crazy amount and Grenade have NAILED it... these are as close to a chocolate bar you are getting and to be honest I have swapped by chocolate fix with these. I like doing half a bar at a time, so half in the afternoon then maybe the other half in the evening after dinner.

at first when i dry scooped it i hated it,

at first when i dry scooped it i hated it, but then decided to add it to water and it's the most beautiful taste ever, gave me so much energy deffo in my top 3 pre workouts and will buy again. i got cherry bomb and it was lush. can't fault it at all, little bit itchy but disintegrates straight away into the wayer

Taste: best way to describe is fizzy cherry. Mix: dilutes well, doesn't leave any grainy bits at the bottom. Ingredients: Evidence based dose, you do only need 1 scoop. Price: I got this at 20 a bag, so 1 per serving. Typical price for a premium brand. Packaging: The only bad thing about this product. The opening to the bag is too small, each time I scoop I get powder all over my hands and the corners of the bag hold powder you can't scoop. I'd recommend emptying the bag into a small tub that you have that almost every other brand uses, makes it much much easier. Grenade need to change to a plastic (recyclable) tub.

Tasted fine, but nothing special. Awful packaging as another review mentioned. It gets everywhere! I didn't get much of a buzz from this, so I'm going back to Bulk for better ingredients and value.
