What is In
NOW Foods 5-HTP capsules are a nutritional supplement that contains 50mg of 5-HTP (5-hydroxytryptophan) from Griffonia simplicifolia Extract (Seed). Each serving size of 1 Veg Capsule provides 50mg of 5-HTP and the container holds 180 servings. This supplement is made with rice flour and Hypromellose (cellulose capsule) and does not contain wheat, gluten, soy, milk, eggs, fish, shellfish or tree nut ingredients. It is produced in a GMP facility that may also process other allergens. For optimal results, it is recommended to take 1 capsule daily on an empty stomach at bedtime. Please consult a physician before use if you are pregnant or nursing, taking medications (especially antidepressants), or have a medical condition. This supplement may cause drowsiness and mild transient GI symptoms, so it is advised to take with food if experiencing GI upset. Always keep out
